In recognition of this momentous occasion, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has issued an official Certificate of Commendation honoring WAPA’s 75th anniversary. The document, pictured at right, includes the following language:

NOW, THEREFORE, I Tony Evers, Governor of the State of Wisconsin, do hereby congratulate the Wisconsin Asphalt Pavement Association upon its 75th anniversary and thank everyone involved for their dedicated service to the state.
WAPA has come a long way since it was born in 1948, and we are so grateful to you, our members, for joining us on this exciting, ongoing journey to make asphalt the best material it can be.
Have a safe and happy new year!
