Dear friends,
It is with a very heavy heart that I announce that William “Bill” Kennedy of Rock Road Companies (Janesville) passed away on June 28, 2024. He was a visionary leader whose dedication, innovation, and passion for asphalt paving and construction have left an indelible mark on our industry.
Bill was a very compassionate man, whose love and devotion extended not only to his family members but to his work family as well. He was actively involved with WAPA for over five decades and was instrumental in helping to shape the asphalt industry locally and across the country.
Beyond his professional achievements, Bill was known for his kindness, generosity, and commitment to others.
As we mourn the loss, we also celebrate his life and the extraordinary contributions he made to our industry. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill’s family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
